Recent Knitting Pictures!

Here are the long promised pictures of recent knitted projects.  Shown is the latest knitted bag, stolen by my daughter.  Also, the knitted pencil holder to brighten up my workspace, which really needed it!  The knitted choker-style necklace which was based on my knitted bookmarks.  The latest knitted bag is coming along pretty well, almost done, but I haven't worked on it as much as I wanted.

We had a personal situation that made me totally not feel like knitting.  Our sweet Yorkshire Terrier, Sparky, passed away.  The last few weeks have been like a blur, just trying to get through the days without crying.  He was buried with his knitted blanket, so he'll be warm on his new journey.  The first picture is of our sweet boy, we miss him very much.

I am sooooooooooo sorry to hear about your Sweet Sparky!  I know just how badly it hurts since I lost my Precious just a little over a year ago.  I know this sounds cliche, but it really will get better with time.  You will never stop missing him, but the pain will lessen and you will be able to treasure those memories with less tears.  For now, just go day by day and know that my thoughts are with you.

Your Knitting Friend,
Lisa

Thank you, Lisa, for your kind words about Sparky.  I know you've been there, too.  I still have moments, but it is a bit better every day.  He will always be in our hearts.  Thank you my friend.
