Another great journal that I read is My Therapist, The Knitting Bag located here: http://journals.aol.com/jewelsladymax/MyTherapisttheKnittingBag/ . Another enthusiastic knitter! This lady's journal had the honor of being one of AOL Editor Top Journal Picks. She is currently working on chemo hats using fur-type yarns. I hoping she will post pictures of her finished projects! She has a great outlook on knitting & life in general. You just have to love her view of knitting as therapy! There is really something so soothing as knitting, the feel of the yarn in your hands, the rhythm of the needles, the creation of material from a string, the satisfaction of completion. Oh yeah! The knitting bag is a therapist! She's a woman after my own heart! You go, lady!

Wanted to tell you that I love the circular shawl! Very beautiful. You did a great job. Have you worn it yet? No pictures of you modeling it?
I love the way you are knitting those hats for cancer patients. When my beautiful Mother was 43, she developed a brain tumor...we went out and looked everywhere for very soft hats. It was summer, so we bought ones made of silk. In cold weather, knitted caps would be so wonderful. She passed away before she started chemotherapy. In the case of a brain tumor, they shave the head for surgery, so she lost all of her hair. This is a wonderful cause.
Thanks for the great comments! I really enjoy reading your journal, too. I feel like all of the journals I read are my "knitting friends" and I love to keep up with what everyone is doing. I am trying to get some of my pictures in my journal, but I am having a time with "You Got Pictures" -- it gets to step 13b, then just sits there! Very frustrating! Thanks again for the really nice comments! -- Lisa
